Overview
As a web designer, I was tasked with creating a website from the ground up, ensuring it was user-friendly and intuitive. The goal was to make it easy for users to find events and book tables for brunches. While adhering to the brand’s color scheme, created the site’s structure, created CMS libraries and integrated events managements system and added payments and giftcards plus implemented automated processes for post-registration activities.
Key chalenges
I initially started developing this platform on WordPress; however, I ran into lots of limitations. After a thorough evaluation, I transitioned to Wix Studio. This strategic change enhanced functionalities related to events, galleries, and payments, enabling the creation of a more robust and versatile platform designed to meet users’ diverse needs and make it easy to maintain.

Process
After discussing all the needs of the site I created sitemap and first hi-fi wireframes in Figma. After several iterations I used Wix Studio to bulid it.
Sitemap
As usual in such a project I created a Sitemap to visualize information architecture and to make sure all of the necessary pages are included and user flows covered.
Sketches
After various sketches were created we found the best approach for each page, so that all the necessary info is presented and available in multiple ways. Here are the sketches that didn’t make it into the website.
